  • 1 tsp hojicha powder, about 2g
  • 60 ml / 2 oz hot water, about 90°C / 194°F
  • 150–200 ml / 5–7 oz milk, dairy or plant-based
  • Sweetener to taste

Instructions

  1. Sift 1 tsp of hojicha powder into a bowl or cup.
  2. Add hot water and whisk or stir until smooth.
  3. Heat the milk and froth it to your preference.
  4. Pour the milk into the hojicha mixture and stir gently.
  5. Add sweetener if desired. Serve hot and enjoy.
Tip: For a richer café-style latte, use slightly less water and a little more milk.
