How to Make a Delicious Matcha Latte (Hot & Iced)

Hot Matcha Latte
Ingredients
- 1 tsp (2g) matcha powder
- 60 ml (2 oz) hot water (~80°C / 176°F)
- 150–200 ml (5–7 oz) milk (dairy or plant-based)
- Sweetener to taste
Instructions
- Sift 1 tsp of matcha into a bowl to prevent clumps.
- Add 60 ml of hot water and whisk briskly in a zigzag motion until frothy.
- Warm or steam the milk and froth it to your preference.
- Pour the milk into your matcha and stir gently.
- Add sweetener if desired. Enjoy hot.
Iced Matcha Latte
Ingredients
- 1 tsp (2g) matcha powder
- 60 ml (2 oz) hot water (~80°C / 176°F)
- 150–200 ml (5–7 oz) cold milk
- Ice cubes
- Sweetener to taste
Instructions
- Sift 1 tsp of matcha into a bowl or shaker bottle.
- Add 60 ml of hot water and whisk or shake until completely mixed and frothy.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour cold milk over the ice.
- Pour the whisked matcha over the milk.
- Add sweetener if desired. Stir and enjoy chilled.
