Rich and tasty matcha latte. Works well with matcha shaker. No "earthy" taste that you often find in lower quality matcha.

Good quality matcha

This matcha powder exceeded my expectations. The color is a vibrant, fresh green, which immediately shows its quality. The taste is smooth and well-balanced with a light natural sweetness and no harsh bitterness. It dissolves easily when whisked and has a clean, creamy finish.

Great for making matcha lattes, smooth, no bitterness or astringent! Great value!

This matcha makes a really enjoyable and floral latte for it’s little price point. The flavor is well-balanced—neither overly bitter nor too tart—while still offering a pleasant depth that keeps it from tasting flat. I found that brewing it with slightly cooler water, around 83–85°C, brought out the best in its profile.

Overall, it’s a solid choice for an affordable, everyday matcha, and one I’m definitely buying again.

I finally tried the Hekisuien Chiyo no Sakae matcha and now I understand the hype 🍵✨

The color is such a vibrant green and the taste is super smooth with almost no bitterness. It has this creamy, slightly sweet umami flavor that tastes amazing even with just water. The foam also came out really nice and silky.

I’ve tried a few matchas before, but this one honestly feels more premium and balanced. Perfect for daily matcha lattes or traditional usucha.

If you like smooth, rich matcha without that harsh grassy aftertaste, this one is definitely worth trying 💚

I really enjoy this matcha. The flavor is smooth, well-balanced, and not overly bitter. It has a pleasant natural sweetness and a fresh, grassy aroma that makes it very easy to drink on its own, even without milk or sugar. The powder is fine and vibrant green, which shows good quality. Overall, it feels premium and consistent every time I prepare it. I would definitely recommend this matcha to anyone who appreciates a clean, refined ceremonial-grade taste.

Great “budget” matcha

Compared to the other matcha brands that can be hard to get, this matcha isn’t too bad! While the color isn’t the most vibrant, it’s a lot better than most “ceremonial” matchas on the market. This matcha can be on the bitter side so it’s best for lattes, imo. I use like 3g on average to make a latte w this blend! However, I bought in early march for $41 (150g) & it’s already increased to $50+ . I’ll continue to buy this as it restocks as it’s a decent alternative to other brands like Koyamaen, etc. But I hope it doesn’t keep increasing price bc it’s not worth the $$$ for a somewhat bitter & less vibrant matcha like this one!

Sooo yummy, great most affordable matcha I’ve seen. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a basic matcha and not something too complex, although that doesn’t take anything away from how it’s so delicious.
