EU Consumer Rights & Right of Withdrawal

This page applies to customers ordering from the European Union. These rights are granted under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive) and EU Directive 2023/2673, effective from 19 June 2026.

Your Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

As an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order — without giving any reason and without penalty.

The 14-day period begins on the day you, or a third party you designate, physically receive the goods. If multiple items in your order are delivered separately, the period starts from the day you receive the last item.

How to Cancel or Withdraw Your Order

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us clearly stating your order number and your decision to withdraw:

  • A statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase

We will send you a confirmation of your withdrawal request by email without delay.

Returns & Refunds

Topic Details
Return shipping cost The cost of returning goods to us is borne by the customer.
Original shipping fee The original outbound shipping fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund. Only the cost of the goods themselves will be refunded.
Refund timing We will refund your payment within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return shipment, whichever comes first.
Refund method Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Condition of goods Please return items in their original condition. We may reduce the refund amount if goods have been handled in a way that diminishes their value beyond what is necessary to inspect them.

Exceptions — When the Right of Withdrawal Does Not Apply

Under EU law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Opened food products — For hygiene and health protection reasons, sealed food items (including matcha powder) that have been unsealed after delivery cannot be returned.
  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
  • Goods that may deteriorate or expire rapidly.

Unopened, sealed products may be returned within the 14-day withdrawal period.

Extended Withdrawal Period

If we have not informed you of your right of withdrawal, the withdrawal period is extended by 12 months. Once we provide you with the required information, the standard 14-day period applies from that date.
