Origin & Producer

Region: Hoshino Village, Yame, Fukuoka, Japan
Producer: Hoshino Seichaen
Format: Loose-leaf sencha | Net weight: 100g (3.53 oz)

How to Brew (Best Results)

Hot Brew (Umami-forward)

  • Tea: 3g (about 1 heaping tsp)
  • Water: 120–150 ml (4–5 fl oz) at 75–80°C (167–176°F)
  • Steep: 60–90 seconds, then pour to the last drop
  • 2nd infusion: 80–85°C (176–185°F), 30–45 sec
  • 3rd infusion: a touch hotter, 20–30 sec

Cold Brew (Sweet & Smooth)

  • Tea: 10–12g (2–3 tbsp)
  • Water: 1L (34 fl oz), cold
  • Steep: 4–6 hours in the fridge, then strain
  • For a quick version: shake with ice water for 90–120 sec

Tips for the Best Cup

  • Use good water (soft to medium) for a rounder taste.
  • Pre-warm your teapot/cups to keep extraction stable.
  • Pour to the last drop—this balances each cup and readies the leaves for the next infusion.
  • Store sealed, away from heat, light, moisture, and strong odors.
Ingredients: Green tea (Camellia sinensis).
Country of origin: Japan (Yame, Fukuoka).
Allergen info: Manufactured in a tea facility; no flavoring added.
